As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll oversee multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout while mentoring project teams and serving as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously
- Oversee project planning from preconstruction through final completion
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, and cost controls
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Lead owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings
- Negotiate and administer subcontract agreements
- Identify and proactively resolve project risks
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Review change orders and contract modifications
- Coordinate internal project teams and field leadership
- Mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers
- Monitor project profitability and financial performance
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout project execution
- Ensure timely project closeout and turnover
- Support business development through client engagement and repeat business initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of commercial construction project management experience
- Experience managing projects exceeding $25 million
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and project delivery methods
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Experience with budgeting and cost control
- Excellent scheduling and planning abilities
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project
- Thorough understanding of OSHA safety requirements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong client relationship management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare or higher education construction
- Design-build project experience
- LEED Accredited Professional designation
- OSHA 30 Certification
- PMP certification
- Experience managing negotiated projects
