Following several recent project awards, the company is expanding its operations team and is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects throughout the Colorado Springs region.

Key Responsibilities

Lead multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
Develop project execution plans, schedules, and staffing strategies
Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
Negotiate and administer subcontract agreements
Oversee owner, architect, and subcontractor communications
Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays
Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout construction
Review and approve change orders and project cost impacts
Mentor Project Managers, Engineers, and support staff
Collaborate with field leadership to resolve project challenges
Monitor project profitability and financial performance
Ensure compliance with contract documents and safety requirements
Build long-term relationships with clients and project stakeholders
Support business development through repeat client engagement
Participate in project turnover and warranty coordination

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
8+ years of commercial construction project management experience
Experience managing projects valued at $20 million or more
Strong knowledge of commercial construction contracts
Excellent budgeting and cost control experience
Proven leadership and team management skills
Strong scheduling and planning capabilities
Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
Strong client relationship management skills
High attention to detail
Commitment to operational excellence

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare or higher education project experience
Design-build project delivery experience
LEED Accredited Professional designation
OSHA 30 Certification
PMP certification
Experience managing negotiated commercial projects
